We’re going to try our hardest to maintain an open line of communication and be transparent with you on all fronts. We expect the same of you. This means that if you are having any issues with the project (big or small), let’s address them quickly and move on.

PROJECT TIMELINES
Here’s the official schedule for our clients
This is a super top secret link… for your eyes only (well yours and our other current clients). We have labelled your project with your last name along with a brief project description. Please look for that info to see when your project is scheduled for and an estimation of time to complete. This schedule is ever changing so check back often. We will contact you directly to coordinate material drop offs, installation times and anything else we need specific to your project so don’t worry about being on top of the date. However, if upon looking at our schedule and seeing it coincides with a family vacation or some other obstacle, please let us know so we can reschedule for a more convenient time.
COMMUNICATION & “OFFICE HOURS”
We love active communication on projects with our clients and are always open to answer any questions you may have. You can reach us via email, text or phone call (we have voicemail if we miss your call) and we’ll get back to you asap. As small business owners, we find ourselves on the clock more often than we want (work/life balance is a struggle!) so we may sometimes reply to your messages late in the evening or on weekends. We do prefer to attempt to keep our evenings and weekends for ourselves so please do not be offended if we do not answer messages on weekends (except for a touch base on Sunday evening if we plan to be at your place on Monday) or after 8 pm during the week. We often see your messages and will reply if it is an urgent matter.

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
J-MAN QUALITY GUARANTEE
Wood moves with changes in humidity and temperature, so we cannot guarantee absolute perfection over time. If you have any issues with your project, let us know and we’ll come troubleshoot the issue (typical wear and tear conditions. We do not cover you not taking care of your projects properly). Of the few times we have been called back for repairs: 1) it has been an issue from wood movement (not the fault of our lovely clients) and 2) we have found a solution at no cost to our client. We often get requests to refinish projects a couple of years down the line (puppies, children, overzealous cleaning, etc) and we are happy to offer this service to our existing client base for a fee.
LATE PAYMENT POLICY
Amount on invoices unpaid after 28 days are subject to 2% compounding interest per day. Please contact us prior to construction to arrange for a more flexible payment schedule so we don’t run into this issue. If late payments are planned for, they aren’t actually late. Remember: we are humans just like you who also sometimes have unexpected expenses :)
